An opera for three? Yes, it is possible and, in terms of historical performance practice, even quite commonplace. In the Baroque era, the most popular opera arias were performed in small ensembles within family circles. Soprano Maria Ladurner transports the audience to the palaces of the nobility in the 18th century and, together with Christoph Urbanetz and Margret Köll, performs the most virtuoso arias of the Baroque masters.
